CONCRETE
Concrete is an iconic building, and the very first project to be completed by the Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA), founded by Pritzker Prize winning architect Rem Koolhaas, in the UAE. Concrete is the first building in the history of Dubai to be shortlisted for the prestigious Aga Khan Award for Architecture.
A multi-disciplinary space, Concrete is a blank canvas with limitless configurations, making every experience unique to your brand. Concrete has hosted exhibitions and events in collaboration with world-renowned institutions (including the Victoria & Albert Museum, the Montblanc Cultural Foundation, Hayward Gallery, London and the Aga Khan Museum), iconic luxury brands, well-known personalities, and leading international educational and cultural organisations.
Concrete hosts large-scale art exhibitions, symposia, conferences, conceptual fashion presentations, film screenings, award ceremonies, meetings, and corporate experiences, as well as private functions. The transformable 600-square-metre space boasts double-height ceilings, 4 movable soundproof walls, skylights, and translucent 8-metre-high facade doors that lead out onto The Yard (our outdoor venue measuring 1,400 square metres)—creating a unique opportunity for an indoor-outdoor symbiotic experience. Concrete provides professional, museum-grade lighting and an ambient sound system to create bespoke events across art, design, fashion, and the performing arts.
