#AlserkalPayItForward | A huge thank you to INKED, our Alserkal Avenue community, and everyone who supported the Alserkal Pay It Forward initiative over the last few months! The team at Inked turned their space into a community kitchen, cooking and delivering 22,290 meals to frontline health workers and those in need in collaboration with Dubai Health Authority and UAE Food Bank. Alserkal Pay It Forward continues.


The Alserkal family has created the Alserkal Pay It Forward Programme, an initiative which invites Alserkal Avenue community members to apply for a subsidy to support their lease commitment for one quarter, in return for a commitment to give back, support one another and our wider community in this most challenging time and 'pay it forward':

In efforts to support front line workers and those in need, INKED has been cooking and delivering well-balanced meals in collaboration with the Alserkal Avenue community, F&B partners, UAE Food Bank and Dubai Health Authority To keep this initiative going INKED are asking people and organisations to lend a helping hand by purchasing meals priced at AED25 each. As a collective response, some of our contemporary art galleries and their artists, and creative concepts within Alserkal Avenue, have teamed up to contribute to this initiative:

Lawrie Shabibi and Mohamed Ahmed Ibrahim sold 56 works towards @inkeddubai’s initiative. DM @lawrieshabibi on Instagram for enquiries.

Gallery Isabelle van den Eynde teamed up with Mohamed Kazem, and sold 4 drawings from his ‘Neighbours’ series of watercolour on paper, with 100% of profits going to INKED's initiative. Email or DM @galleryivde on Instagram for enquiries.

Ayyam Gallery | Together with Iranian artist Afshin Pirhashemi's generosity, Ayyam Gallery donated 100% of the proceeds of four of the artist's limited edition prints towards INKED's initiative to feed front line workers and those in need.⁠ Please DM @ayyamgallery on Instagram or contact them on for more info.⁠

KAVE are creating boxes made up of reusable fabric face masks and handmade soaps to be given to people in need in our wider community. KAVE has also pledged 10% of their total sales, and 100% of proceeds of abstract artist Rabab Tantawy's works to purchase meals for INKED's community kitchen Shop here.

Amé Artistic Studio | for every Ramadan arrangement sold, a meal was donated towards INKED's food drive. 

Leila Heller Gallery  teams up with Shahzad Hassan Ghazi as part of the Alserkal Pay It Forward programme. The artist’s work will be sold with 100% of the proceeds going towards INKED's initiative. You can email for enquiries.

The Flip Side donated a percentage of their sales to the #AlserkalPayItForward programme during Ramadan.

thejamjar will be donating 10% of the proceeds from the sales of each painting kit to support INKED's initiative.

#GPPArtistRelief Print Sale | In an effort to support and celebrate our local freelancing creative community here in the UAE, Gulf Photo Plus has launched an open call for images to be included as part of a COVID-19 Artist Relief Print Sale, with over 300 artists submitting to the call. Each image is available as an open edition 10x15" print, printed on archival-grade fine paper at GPP's printing lab. Each print is just 350 AED, including delivery to your home in the UAE. 70% of the proceeds of each sale will go directly to each artist, to help support them during them challenging times.

eL SeedWorld-renowned artist eL Seed has pledged the sales of a selection of his prints to INKED;s community kitchen, and he has already sold out of two print designs! For those who haven’t gotten their hands on his beautiful artworks yet, he has released another print for purchase and you can contact or visit his studio to buy one. More here.
