3 November 2015 | 19:00 | A4 Cinema Room
Mary Ellen Carroll presented Is public private? Public space and the unsuspecting materials of policy, frequency, and the square, a talk that explored transparency and open source infrastructures in the 21st century. Carroll’s presentation examined how we live in a political epoch and the use of policy as a material. She looked specifically at unused television frequencies, land-use policy and zoning and opened up a discussion on the delineation of public space, even within the private.
