The Green Economy - Profitability through Sustainability in the Era of Climate Change
The past 3 industrial revolutions have greatly impacted our planet. As countless scientific studies show, the human footprint has reached a dangerous level and our collective behavior is creating changes in our natural environment. The United Nations estimates that if current trends continue, the global per capita use of natural resources will increase by 70 percent by 2050.
As natural resources are depleting, including water and clean air, many entrepreneurs are taking on the challenge to respond to an ever-growing demand of environmentally friendly products, to shift their business models to a more sustainable behavior, and to drastically reduce their company’s environmental footprint.
In this Tharawat Talk experts and entrepreneurs will address key questions around the future of our planet and explore the business opportunities of the Green Economy.

This Tharawat Talk is happening two days before a celebration of art and culture, Quoz Arts Fest 2019, under the theme 'CTRL+ALT+ACTION'!
How will we embrace the small changes that contribute to a larger impact on economic, environmental, and social sustainability? 'CTRL+ALT+ACTION' explores the various facets of sustainability, how they affect our lives, and how we can take action to make a change.
The two-day event is free and open to the whole family, including pets, with parent and kid-friendly activities including performances, workshops, tours, film screenings, food concepts, and live music.
