Alserkal Programming invites you on a monthly series of road trips to visit exhibitions, talks, performances and film screenings by galleries, arts institutions, and cultural initiatives around the country.

The next trip will take place on the 20 of May to attend the 13th edition of the Sharjah Biennial Tamawuj. The venues that will be visited are the Al Hamriyah Studios and The Flying Saucer

Sharjah Biennial 13: Tamawuj, encompasses exhibitions, projects and educational programmes in five locations, expanding the biennial’s structure across space and time. Curated by Christine Tohme, Tamawuj is an Arabic word that suggests the rising and falling of waves; a flowing, swelling, surging or fluctuation and a wavy, undulating appearance, outline or form.
