Mirzam Chocolate Makers | Cocoa & Coffee: Tasting Beans
Ever wanted to truly understand the words 'single origin'? Join the teams from Zero4 Coffee and Mirzam Chocolate for a group workshop focused on understanding more about biodiversity, flavour development and how tasting is far more delicious than eating. Zero 4 sources interesting coffee beans from across the world for Mirzam's coffee counter.
Techarc | Virtual Reality (VR)
Virtual reality technology enables us to stimulate any environment and any material. This gives us the ability to create and design unlimited forms. In this workshop, participants can play VR games and will be working with Google Tilt Brush, which lets them paint in 3D space with virtual reality. Unleash your creativity with three-dimensional brush strokes, stars, light, and even fire.
Gulf Photo Plus | Creative DIY Lighting
Think outside the box and get creative using alternative lighting techniques with Gulf Photo Plus - whether you wield a smartphone, a DSLR, or a mirrorless camera. Light your subject in innovative ways using desk lamps, LED lights, and projectors. Brighten up your images with glow-in-the-dark paints, colored gels, and vibrant backgrounds to produce otherworldly portraits.
CHI-KA | The Henna Sessions
This workshop offers participants a hands-on contemporary spin on bedouin henna. We take a look at some excellent examples from the desert areas of Western Sahara to the Arabian Peninsula. Participants can create their own designs and henna artists will be present to apply the patterns.
